Oficialmente comienza el recorrido público de los premios más importantes a nivel cinematográfico. Esta mañana han anunciado en directo por youtube las nominaciones. La película más nominada es Hugo de Martin Scorcesse, nombrada en 11 categorías, seguida de la favorita The Artist de Michel Hazanavicus, en 10. Ambas compiten en dos de las categorías principales: mejor película y mejor director. Otras de las grandes nominadas son Moneyball y War Horse (6), The Descendants y Millenium: The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo (5), y The Help (4). Hay sorpresas como la inclusión de Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close en Mejor Película o Rooney Mara en Mejor Actriz Protagonista, así como la ausencia de Tintin y Cars 2 en Mejor Película de Animación. La premiación será el próximo 26 de Febrero en Los Ángeles, conducida por Billy Crystal.
